The 15-inch active subwoofer was designed from the ground up to take advantage of JBL's latest acoustic innovations. A high-output driver powered by an ultra-efficient 2,000-watt Class D amplifier delivers clear, defined bass with low-frequency extension at maximum volume.
Operated via an integrated color display or the JBL Pro Connect app, the comprehensive DSP features 6-band parametric EQ for system equalization and detailed tone control, as well as a low-pass filter and 20 ms delay.
The JBL Pro Connect app provides full hardware and DSP control of up to ten speakers. PRX900 Series models can be integrated into projects with other JBL speakers such as JBL EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE and EON700, with exclusive features such as snapshots and grouping together.
The system is designed for tough use on the road. The 18mm birch plywood enclosure features optimized internal bracing for a smoother frequency response and increased robustness. As with every JBL product, everything undergoes extensive testing and is backed by a seven-year warranty.
